"Weather" Thou Goest
Well, I gotta tell you, some of the entries have been very entertaining. It is really interesting to see the eclectic tastes in music enjoyed by many in blog land. So, moving on to the next round, let's hear some songs involving the theme of:
WEATHER
I have a feeling this may go on for a while, so feel free to offer three songs per entry.
And, once again we have a mystery song, so good luck. If you guess the mystery song, I will use my vast knowledge of computers to equip your machine with the ability to dot all of your lower-case i's.

Yea, this one could go on for awhile...here's 3 to start:
"Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful"
The Lord told Noah there's gonna be a floody, floody
"Sunny with a high of 75" great Reliant K song
Ok, let me have a try at this. How about Gene Kelly singing and dancing to "Singing in the Rain". I can get into that one today.
"Sunny days, keepin' the clouds away! On my way to where the air is sweet.."
"Raindrops keep fallin' on my head"
"I'm no stranger to the rain, I'm a friend of thunder.."
Nino- of all the "Noah" songs, I can't believe you did not go with: The Lord said, "Noah, there's gonna be a flood. There's gonna be some water and there's gonna be some mud. So take off you hat, Noah. Take off your coat. Get Ham, shem and Japheth and build yourself a boat..."
My Girl- Temptations
I've Got Sunshine, on a Cloudy Day
Fire and Rain- James Taylor
Sunshine (Go Away Today)- Jonathan Edwards
"Weather" by Stephen Speaks
"Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?": "did it feel like thunder ba-aby"
Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway":
"and when the rain would fall down"
and of course Prince's "Purple Rain"
"And the thunder rolls. And the lightnin' strikes..."
Garth Brooks
Actually, I did want to go with THAT Noah song, but thankfully, I forgot how it went until today. Thanks! (All I could remember was "Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord and he landed high and dry...)
"Thunder bolt and lightening, very, very frightening" -Queen
"Rainy days and Mondays always get me down."
"Blue skies and rainbows and sunbeams from Heaven."
How's that for a mixture?
"Summer breeze, makes me feel fine"
"I can see clearly now the rain is gone"
And just because I'm a musical theatre geek - "Soon it's gonna rain, I can feel it. Soon it's gonna rain, I can tell. Soon it's gonna rain, what are we gonna do?"
- From The Fantastiks
Riders On The Storm - The Doors
Bustah
"Well, I love a rainy night . . ."
Wasn't that Eddie Rabbit?
"God sent old Noah the rainbow sign--won't be water but fire next time . . ."
Atom Bomb--Acappella did a version of it.
"I know the Master of the wind . . ."
Candy Hemphill Christmas
"Thunder only happens when it's raining.............when the rain washes you clean you'll know"
- Fleetwood Mac
"Raindrops keep fallin' on my head"
- BJ Thomas
"Against the wind. I keep running against the wind."
-Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band
'It's rainin' men' (sorry!)
When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with you above the storm
Father, You are king over the flood
I will be still and know you are God.
"I Will Be Still" I think it's called. Zoe tune, don't know who did it before them.
"When The Storm Has Passed" or is it called "Safe at Home at Last"?
While the lightnings flash
And the thunders roll
And the raging, crashing waves unfold!
In the hollow (hollow) of His hand (of His hand)
I'm secure (I'm secure)
With Him I stand (Him I stand)
I am safe at home at last
When the storm has passed.
"Holy Spirit, Rain Down" (Zoe)
The children's classic:
"rain, rain go away
come again another day"
Sheryl Crow's "Soak Up the Sun"
Will Smith's "Summertime"
"Stormy Weather"
Well, the mystery song went undiscovered this time. It was "Blue Skies" by Willie Nelson. Better luck next time.
